Circumcisions and Vasectomies

In Sweden, and most of the civilized world, boys are not circumcised unless the parents want it for religious reasons.

Barbaric.

However, about 7 years ago, at age 35 or so, I had a vasectomy and a circumcision done at the same time. It appears that the men in my family suffer from an affliction that makes the foreskin less elastic with age. My father only had the unelastic part removed, but I figured that when in Rome, do as the Romans do; I chopped off everything.

Bada bing, bada boom.

Wham, bam, thank you… uh… dude.

At the same time, my car was out of commission and I didn’t want to spend the money fixing it (I wound up doing it anyway later) but at the time I bought a cheap motorcycle and I was commuting on it. So there I was, straddling a vibrating two-cylinder motorcycle with my whole package in a package. Good thinking, there.

The really dumb part about the motorcycle was that I gave it away as a gift after I healed, so I only used it when I really shouldn’t have. I spent several weeks of convalescence straddling that bike, commuting a 50 mile roundtrip a day in January. Dang it was cold. My poor testes were so banged up that they wished they never dropped. Nowadays I telecommute so I don’t even have to leave the house. I’m not the sharpest tool in the drawer, but my mother maintains that I am plenty smart.

One would think that there would be loss of sensation due to circumcision, exposing the tender skin of the glans like that. It did to a degree. Particularly the signals that communicate sense of wetness and warmth were compromised. Touch and friction seem to remain nearly the same. In all it did not diminish getting me off; I seem to have re-routed the processing in my brain to simply appreciate different sensations. If I last longer, it is because of age and not because of the circumcision.

Once, when I was trying hard not to come, I accidentally transferred my attention from the head to the underside of the shaft, where the big vein is. It was weird when it happened but I quickly discovered the benefits so I learned to do it more. I can’t do it all the time but when I do, it is a very nice feeling. That skin doesn’t have the pleasure sensors the head does, but they are much more sensitive to touch in terms of texture. I will feel the entire sliding motion and sort of explore and it will give a great sense of the entire penetration.

As far as the vasectomy goes, I notice that I have a slight sensation of general discomfort in the area, feeling like a memory of blue balls, and it never goes away. Something that was a little freaky was that they left the surgical hole in the scrotum open, not suturing it or gluing it. It was to not enclose a possible infection. After a few months it healed by itself, but it was jittery having a hole there; had you wanted to, you could have shined a light right on my balls. Really, now.

I asked the doctor about the hole in my scrotum and he said that it was to not lock in any possible pathogens that could cause infection. By leaving the hole open, it allowed my body to expel anything that was still in there that was not good for it. Apparently, the hole won’t close until everything is good and ready in there. It didn’t hurt but it was somewhat freaky having an open hole in your body where none is supposed to be. The thought just struck me; what if a spider crawled in through the hole and you could feel it running around in there? Yewwww.

After the circumcision it took me a few weeks to get used to friction against fabric. That friction was mostly an annoying, almost burning sensation, not at all arousing. The head is really made for a soft, wet, warm place, and not dry fabric. Today, I have acclimatized to fabric friction and I don’t notice it any more.

During erection, the sheath normally would pull back automatically. It covered everything nicely while flaccid and when erect, it was completely pulled back and while not as taut as now, there was not much give left. In fact, the skin behind the glans used to be incredibly sensitive to pulling that it hurt me while being erect. It also meant that I would have to work myself slowly into a not fully lubricated vagina because it would hurt too much otherwise. After the circumcision it doesn’t hurt at all, so that’s definitely an upside. I can happily ram it in anywhere I want to nowadays, lubrication or no lubrication.

I do remember the sensation of the foreskin sort of “unrolling” over the filling glans as it grew, heartbeat by heartbeat. It felt pleasurable, the glans cooling a bit as moisture evaporated from the taut, over-sensitive skin. When the final piece unrolled to lodge just behind the head with a noticeable popping feeling, that popping feeling could sometimes feel like a jolt of electricity. It was a very primitive signal to my conscious mind that my body was now ready to take possession of the female.

A dick is a really good thing to have because you get to put it in girls.

As a contrast to the revelation of the head from the foreskin, getting an erection after circumcision is quite unceremonious and matter-of-fact, I’m sad to say.

I bike I bought was an old Yamaha 2-cylinder (straight, not v-twin) 750cc. I could have used another 250cc on the freeway but it was certainly plenty to commute with. Were I ever to buy my dream bike, it would be an Indian or an HD Road King. If I even get me a bike again, I need me a big, fat V-twin and ZZ Top in my ears.

And a tattoo.

I’m way too square.

My friend, you have too many different facets to be square.
