This is in response to SubGirl’s poem The power of the storm.
Rain all around me;
facing it and tasting it,
thunder approaches
Thunder is crashing,
lightning flashing at my touch,
“Yes, I have you now”
Storm rolling away;
weather is clearing, but soon
she’ll need me again
